Tips to make your life better.

  • Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.

  • Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.

  • Buy a DVR and tape your late night shows and get more sleep.

  • When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement, ‘My purpose is to __________ today.’

  • Live with the 3 E’s — Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.

  • Play more games and read more books than you did in 2007.

  • Make time to practice meditation, and prayer. They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives.

  • Spend time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of 6.

  • Dream more while you are awake.

  • Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.

  • Drink green tea and plenty of water. Eat blueberries, wild Alaskan salmon, broccoli, almonds & walnuts

  • Try to make at least three people smile each day.

  • Clear clutter from your house, your car, your desk and let new and flowing energy into your life.

  • Don’t waste your precious energy on gossip, OR issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.

  • Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.

  • Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out charge card.

  • Smile and laugh more. It will keep the nagative blues away.

  • Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good.

  • Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

  • Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

  • You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

  • Make peace with your past so it won’t spoil the present.

  • Don’t compare your life to others’. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

  • No one is in charge of your happiness except you.

  • Frame every so-called disaster with these words: ‘In five years, will this matter?’

  • Forgive everyone for everything.

  • What other people think of you is none of your business.

  • Remember God heals everything.

  • However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

  • Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.

  • Get rid of anything that isn’t useful, beautiful or joyful.

  • Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.

  • The best is yet to come.

  • No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.

  • Do the right thing!

  • Call your family often.

  • Each night before you go to bed complete the following statements: I am thankful for _______. Today I accomplished ____.

  • Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.

  • Enjoy the ride. Remember this is not Disney World and you certainly don’t want a fast pass. You only have one ride through life so make the most of it and enjoy the ride.

  • Laugh when you can, apologize when you should, and let go of what you can’t change

    People

Okay so I am still working off this list of prompts and it told me to choose one of my favorite quotes and then write how I feel about it.
I feel that this quote to me means that everything looks different to people. Yes there are similarities but truth be told no one can or will ever truly see and feel and think exactly what I am.
There fore the only time we see things as they really are is when we are fully prepared to see the truth.
For some reason I am having issues talking or expressing myself on any and every level right now either from a lack of sleep or from brain overload so please excuse me.
But this is one of my favorite quotes.
BLALALALALAH I have such an awful brain fart/cramp right now I may go crazy!

Really your checking my blog again?

Joking you can read it all you want. :)

I spy with my little eye a teenage boy sitting agitated at his parents for not understanding, on the couch to his right I spy a mom anxiously waiting for the last of her children to get home, knowing the rest of them are tucked away safe, up the stairs into the master bedroom I spy a father on his medicine worrying knowing his baby girl is getting ready to be out of the house while his slightly estranged daughter is planning her marriage. I spy in an upstairs bedroom the awkward teenage cousin searching for a thrill and in the room in between I spy a young twin missing his sister who has been away for two weeks now. With just a left turn down the hall I spy an empty room that one day will no longer be mine as well as an empty bed where I miss my baby sister. Back to the living room I spy a four legged pup who sniffs every corner to make sure the house is safe for his family.. In the corner of the farthest room in the house I spy a squeaking noise that my mouse Nigel never fails to to create. Last but not least I spy a family that will always be no matter where the future leads.

Bear with me folks I am working on a list of prompts to try and get myself writing creatively again. :)
    XOXO

    Dreams

“To dream anything that you want to dream. That's the beauty of the human mind. To do anything that you want to do. That is the strength of the human will. To trust yourself to test your limits. That is the courage to succeed.”-Bernard Edmonds
I want to talk about dreams. I thought I wanted to be a psychologist/psychiatrist for deaf children but this has changed. I have realized that I already have issues taking on other peoples problems so being one who listens to problems all day probably is not a great job for me.
I have started to form ideas in my head about what I want to spend the rest of my life doing.
Obviously I want to work with children. Deaf, hard of hearing, special needs, and codas. Therefore I have determined that I think it would be right for me to start a daycare. In all honestly this is just an idea building in my head, but it would involve swimming lessons directed towards alternative learning in the pool that will teach children of all mental capacities (idk if that is politically correct or not) safety in the water.
Also the childcare center I picture in my head will include the correct dietary needs that some children with special needs have.
It is just an idea forming in my head though.

    I am back! again

Hey there I got a brand new car.. not! But I got a new car that is a 2010 Kia Soul and I absolutely love it! I had an amazing weekend in Cape Girardeau.

“Mamihlapinatapai: A look shared by two people with each wishing that the other will initiate something that both desire but which neither one wants to start.”
I just fell in love with this post.
and in love with saddle creek records.

I don't know what to do. I am crying and laughing at the same time and I have no clue what is causing it.
Maybe I am losing my mind.

    Tea on a Saturday Morning

I guess you could say everything is back to normal. I am single and today I am not hating it I have gained a great friend and free tea so how could I complain. I have work today from one until midnight so I am probably going to be veryyyyyyy tired. I guess the only thing I can say is that you live and learn from your mistakes. Like one would think that with all the mistakes I have made with money I would have learned not to go waste 30 dollars on an iTunes card. haha Oh well I am still in pretty good shape. I have to get heading to work, wish me luck for I fear it will be an obnoxiously long day since I didn't sleep well last night.
If anyone knows what causes seeming like you have a fever, nausea, headache, dizziness and overall fatigue please tell me what will help cure it.
    Until my next pointless entry.

    Tuesday, July 5, 2011

    oh hey :)

    Nose ring picture.

    3 days of hell.

Well hello again I know I have been blogging a lot lately! Well I guess I am just going to have say that wish me luck. Everything is about to get interesting.
I am spending a couple days in Chicago this week which would be fun.
More importantly i have three days off work. yessss!
Tomorrow I am off work as well but I am not sure how I am going to make it though Tuesdays from now on. Today was the worst and most emotionally draining day I have ever had from my job. It doesn't help that I have around five thousand things on my mind.
Well wish me luck once again.
I need all the luck I can get.
    Chow my dears.
PS----> when I get back I am taking a break from life so you should be hearing a lot from me since I am going to take a couple weeks off from my friends.
    love love love..
    adios

Falling in love is such an easy thing to do, birds can do it we can do it lets get to it

Well hello there I decided not to get my tattoo.. For all you parent followers out there yayayaya I know I made the right choice but my parents were right. I traded piercings for tattoos so I got my nose pierced and now I have eleven. I am taking a train with my friend Colby this weekend to Chicago, I have a feeling this could get very interesting. I still don't have a reliable car so that sucks but I got a text from AJ the other day saying that there is a boxer husky mixed puppy with my name on it. I wont get my hopes up but I am sooooo excited.
I am watching secret life right now and I think its stupid because this show gives teenagers an awful perspective on life and teen pregnancies. If you get pregnant as a teen your whole entire life is going to change. Me being 19 pretty young over here, if I were ever to get pregnant, I would hope I make the choice to put him or her up for adoption, they will be a miracle to someone, but, I am not sure as of this very moment if I would. Unfortunately I am feeling selfish and would want nothing more than a small child to raise and take care of and worry about an care for. It will be great. But I do understand the importance of waiting. Waiting until I am financially stable, happily married, or settled in my life.
So anyway thats it for random ramblings today.
Best of Luck to everyone and God BLESSSS!
